Before and After School Day Care

Discover and Share has a day care program for elementary school children before and after school and on holidays. The school age program is designed with interest centers that children self select. There are computers, Disco Dance Floor, Microsoft XBoxes, arcade video games, air hockey, foozball tables, arts and crafts, art and writing center, reading center, music center, science center, large blocks, Space Maze, and a home living center.

There is a room to do homework and adults to supervise the work.

School age children have the opportunity for small group activities and projects that promote peer interaction. School age children learn to problem solve in social interactions and relationships. Discover and Share's goal is to create an environment in which school age children can develop and maintain self-esteem by having success with their activities and develop positive relationships and friendships.

Discover and Share has a fourth large playground for the school age children. They may run, climb on climbing equipment, play on swings, and dig and build in the sand. They may play soccer, basketball, volleyball, tag football, dodge ball, soft ball, and other organized games
