Information Concerning the Program
The center is open from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm. Tuition is $145per week or $36.25 per day. Prices include 2 snacks and
a lunch. Breakfast is $1 extra. Field trips are extra and are optional. You only pay for the days and field trips your child
attends. We expect tuition payments in advance on the Friday prior to the next week of attendance; late fees apply to
tardy payments. Field trip payments in advance are appreciated, but not necessary.
Parents must give permission for the child to attend a field trip. Each week a clipboard will be available to sign up the
child for the trips for that week. The prices are posted on the clipboard. We will furnish spending money to be charged
to the children’s account unless the parent or guardian indicates otherwise. We attempt to limit the amount to a 3 to 5
dollars a day. Please indicate on the clipboard if you want your child to have more, less or no spending money.
Children must have permission to attend a field trip; if you do not sign them up, they do not go. If you do sign them up
and they do not want to go, they do not have to go.
Only children who are 5 yrs old are eligible; preferably those who have completed kindergarten.
A center activity schedule associated with the weekly theme will be available in addition to the field trip schedule which
will inform parents and children of activities at the center for those who do not attend field trips. Parents and children
may choose between field trips and full day center activities.
Children will be expected to read each day during quiet time. Please encourage your child to bring a book to read.
There will be books in the school age library as well.
Some procedures and suggestions:
1. Make sure emergency information is current.
2. Make sure you check your child in and out on the computer touchscreen. Parents are expected to escort children in
and out of the center. This is important to keep up with the schedule and the activities as they do change.
3. Each child has a cubby; make your child aware of the privacy of other’s cubbies.
4. Bring a change of clothes for the cubby and mark your child’s name in each piece.
5. Put sunscreen on before your child comes to the center; Label another container of sunscreen for your child’s
cubby. Mark a water bottle with child’s name and keep in cubby.
6. Make sure swim suits, towels and sandals are available for swim days.
7. Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend field trips.
RAIN DAYS: Alternate field trips on rainy days will be Mac Donalds and a movie.
